Pledged jobs for youth but betrayed their future

Chandrababu Naidu who promised to open skill development centers in Andhra Pradesh to enhance skills and provide job opportunities to unemployed youth, diverted an astronomical sum of Rs. 371 crores in various shell companies. Without receiving a single penny as grant in aid from Siemens, the government released Rs. 371 crore. In the guise of this initiative, Chandrababu misappropriated funds meant for the state's development, besides grossly misusing his power.

The PVSP/Skiller and Design Tech companies are central figures in this corruption case. Both entities illegally claimed CENVAT credits without remitting the corresponding service tax. Subsequently, GST officials flagged irregularities in substantial financial transactions of these companies. An investigation unveiled that funds were illicitly transferred through the hawala channel involving shell companies, and this revelation dates back to 2017.

Chandrababu Naidu emerges as a leader marred by corruption, masterminding the nation's most significant scandal. He deceived unemployed individuals, flouting the decisions of the original cabinet, issuing GOs, and violating established agreements.

Chandrababu's promises of development turned out to be empty words, leaving the youth of Andhra Pradesh cheated and disillusioned.

AP FIBERNET SCAM

In the name of connectivity, he severed AP's link to development

In the name of connecting people, CBN broke the connection of development with the people of Andhra Pradesh, engaging in a major corruption scandal under the Fiber Net project.

In the course of this corruption, the TDP government, devoid of transparency and accountability, unlawfully granted a contract to the blacklisted private company Terasoft for establishing the fiber network. Illegal transactions transpired in connection with this contract involving individuals affiliated with Terasoft Company and Telugu Desam Party leaders.

As a consequence of this scam, the state incurred a loss of Rs. 284 crores, depriving the people of the state of high-quality fiber net services. The damaged reputation of the state, stemming from this scandal, deterred companies from investing in Andhra Pradesh.

CID officials investigating the scam have implicated Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu and some other TDP party leaders.

IRRIGATION SCAM

Operating under the pretext of improving irrigation, he became embroiled in substantial corruption, siphoning off a colossal amount of approximately 24,000 crore rupees through projects like Pattiseema and Polavaram

These projects, Polavaram and Pattiseema, have faced allegations of corruption, with various irregularities and accusations of favoritism. CBI is currently investigating corruption allegations linked to the Polavaram and Pattiseema projects, revealing numerous irregularities such as inflated prices for various works and delayed bill payments.

Due to this corruption, the foundation diaphragm wall of the main dam was damaged by the Godavari flood surge. Significant silos have emerged in four locations within the main dam construction area, preventing the realization of the people's dreams for the Polavaram project.

Despite substantial evidence of corruption in the Polavaram project, justice has not yet been served for the people of the state.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also accused Chandrababu Naidu of turning Polavaram into an 'ATM' for corrupt gains.

TIDCO SCAM

Vowed to provide roofs on the heads of people but left them roofless

Housing schemes which were meant to provide shelter and protection from the elements to those in need, Chandrababu Naidu stands accused of severe corruption, leaving the underprivileged without the roofs they deserve. There are allegations that TIDCO, tasked with constructing homes for the deserving, has been turned into a money-making machine by TDP leaders.

Chandrababu shattered the dreams and hopes of the impoverished. Instead of allocating houses to those truly in need, homes were distributed to followers of TDP leaders and individuals acting as fronts. A staggering 9000 crores of corruption is alleged in the allocation of TIDCO houses, and the CBI is conducting an investigation into this extensive scandal.

As a consequence of this scheme, many disadvantaged individuals find themselves without homes. The public is demanding a thorough CBI investigation into the corrupt practices involved in the construction and allocation of TIDCO houses, along with stringent actions against the wrongdoers.

AMARAVATI CAPITAL LAND SCAM

Pledged a world-class capital but plundered in the name of development

Amaravati, once envisioned as a world-class capital city, now stands as a symbol of corruption only because of CBN. He engaged in not one, not two, but four distinct types of scandals, resulting in the embezzlement of crores of rupees.

Chandrababu manipulated the inner ring road of Amaravati, altering its alignment to artificially inflate the land values of prominent TDP members like Narayana, Lingamaneni Ramesh, and Nara Lokesh, resulting in a staggering 2,000 crore scam.

Under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS), Narayana and his associates, with the intention of acquiring assigned lands in the capital region at lower prices, intimidated SCs and STs, leading to the wrongful acquisition of their lands. The total amount involved in this corruption is 6000 crore.

In addition, a colossal scandal, estimated at Rs. 1 lakh crore, unfolded during the Amaravati land acquisition, with Chandrababu Naidu at the epicenter of these scandals, evidently playing a pivotal role in these contentious proceedings.

Chandrababu's rampant corruption not only hindered the progress of Amaravati's development but also inflicted severe economic turmoil on the state.
